The Nordic full-service agency LIWLIG has re-hired Kim Öijerstedt as Creative Director. She has a previous background at the agency from the time it was called Nine Yards, where she led projects for clients such as Axfood, Audi, Volvo, Rituals, SAAB (Orio), Nike, and Suntory. Most recently, she has been working with brand development for CANCAN, focusing on strategy, positioning, and launch.
Fredrik Håkansson, Creative Director at LIWLIG Sweden, highlights the significance of her return: “We are incredibly happy that Kim has chosen to come back to LIWLIG. Her ability to combine creative playfulness with strategic sharpness has, on several occasions, set new standards for what events and brand experiences can achieve. With Kim at the helm of our creative department, I am convinced that we will take even greater strides toward our promise: ‘we turn moments into momentum’ for our clients.”
Richard Farman, Creative Director at LIWLIG, also emphasizes that the recruitment comes at a time when the industry is undergoing major changes: “The industry is in a transition where clients’ expectations on experiences and brand building are becoming increasingly complex. It is no longer enough to just create an event; it is about developing strategic platforms that drive both business and relationships over time. By bringing Kim on board, we strengthen our ability to deliver exactly that. This is where LIWLIG stands out from other agencies: we combine creative excellence, strategic precision, and Nordic delivery power on a scale that few can match. Our clients can expect a partner that doesn’t just follow developments – but leads them.”
In her new role, Öijerstedt will be responsible for leading creative teams, developing concepts, and driving the design process from idea to execution. She will also work closely with business development and production to ensure measurable results for clients. “Being back at LIWLIG feels both natural and exciting. I am driven by creating experiences that are felt, seen, and heard – where the brand takes space and leaves a real mark. Together with this fantastic team, I look forward to pushing the boundaries of what we can achieve creatively,” says Kim Öijerstedt.
